ABOUT US HISTORY

Since beginning operations in January 1999, IntelliDyne has become one of the fastest growing privately held services firms in the D.C. metropolitan area. Starting out with the development and implementation of custom solutions for video teleconferencing, networked computing, and wireless LANs, IntelliDyne has vastly expanded the breadth of its services and solutions to satisfy continually increasing demands from its clients.

At the beginning of 1999, IntelliDyne provided program management services, conducted site surveys, and developed an interactive E-commerce web site for supporting the configuration, integration, and installation of over 2,800 workstations to 11 different medical centers around the United States as part of the Air Education and Training Command (AETC) Computer Lease program. This work expanded to providing an additional 400 workstations for 375th Medical Group at Scott AFB Hospital and several remote clinic locations. IntelliDyne provided on-going support, maintenance, and asset disposition services to the sites.

In mid-1999, IntelliDyne began commercial industry market penetration and by August won its first commercial contract with the world's third largest antiques and collectibles auction house. On this contract IntelliDyne was responsible for modernizing the company's entire information technology and communications infrastructure. IntelliDyne provided all the hardware, software, peripherals, and support services through a 36-month IntelliDyne financed lease.

By the end of our first year in business IntelliDyne had grown to over $1.3M in revenues and over $600,000 in assets.

In 2000, IntelliDyne received a contract for conducting an organizational assessment on how to improve the Military Health System's Advanced Technology Integration Center. Based on IntelliDyne's recommendations in this assessment and its successful track record on other projects, IntelliDyne was awarded its first contract under its GSA schedule contract to help the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs (OASD(HA)) manage and provide operational support for the ATIC.
In 2001, IntelliDyne built on its successful performance at the ATIC and was awarded the OASD(HA) Office Automation Contract for providing:

  • Program Management Support Services
  • Network Backbone Administration & Engineering
  • System and Network Administration
  • Internet/Intranet/Extranet Support
  • Video Teleconferencing
  • Customer Assistance Services
  • Training
  • Documentation Management
  • Asset Management

In 2002, IntelliDyne continued to expand in both the Federal and commercial markets. IntelliDyne was awarded a contract with the Air Force Surgeon General to install and lease a voice over IP system. IntelliDyne was also awarded a subcontract to install a secure VTC system for the Chief of Naval Operations. IntelliDyne was also awarded contracts to provide IT asset management services for a national department store chain and a large pharmaceutical company.

IntelliDyne's new five-year strategic plan builds on this initial success by expanding our services to other Federal Government clients and expanding our lines of business.
