Since beginning operations in January 1999, IntelliDyne has become one of the fastest growing privately held services firms in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Starting out with the development and implementation of custom solutions for video teleconferencing, networked computing, and wireless LANs, we have vastly expanded the breadth of our services and solutions to satisfy continually increasing client demands.
At the beginning of 1999, IntelliDyne provided program management services, conducted site surveys, and developed an interactive E-commerce Web site for supporting the configuration, integration, and installation of over 2,800 workstations to 11 different medical centers around the United States as part of the Air Education and Training Command (AETC) Computer Lease program. This work expanded to providing an additional 400 workstations for the 375th Medical Group at Scott AFB Hospital and several remote clinic locations. We provided on-going support, maintenance, and asset disposition services to the sites.
In mid-1999, IntelliDyne began commercial industry market penetration and by August won our first commercial contract with the world's third largest antiques and collectibles auction house. On this contract, we were responsible for modernizing the company's entire IT and communications infrastructure. We provided all the hardware, software, peripherals, and support services through a 36-month IntelliDyne financed lease. By the end of our first year in business, we had grown to over $1.3M in revenues and over $600,000 in assets.
In 2000, IntelliDyne received a contract to conduct an organizational assessment on how to improve the Military Health System's Advanced Technology Integration Center (ATIC). Based on our recommendations in this assessment and our successful track record on other projects, IntelliDyne was awarded our first contract under the GSA schedule to help the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs (OASD(HA)) manage and provide operational support for the ATIC.
In 2001, we built on our successful performance at the ATIC and were awarded an OASD(HA) Office Automation contract to provide:
- Program Management Support Services
- Network Backbone Administration & Engineering
- System & Network Administration
- Internet/Intranet/Extranet Support
- Video Teleconferencing
- Customer Assistance Services
- Training
- Documentation Management
- Asset Management
In 2002, IntelliDyne continued to expand in both the federal and commercial markets and was awarded contracts with the Air Force Surgeon General to install and lease a voice over IP system and with a national department store chain and a large pharmaceutical company to provide IT asset management services. We were also awarded a subcontract to install a secure VTC system for the Chief of Naval Operations.
In 2004, expanded our client base to other areas of the federal government through the award of a Department of Justice (DOJ) IDIQ contract vehicle for Information Technology Support Services (ITSS-3). Some of the customers IntelliDyne has supported through this vehicle include the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Criminal Justice Information Services Division, the United States Marshals Service, the DOJ Operation Services Staff, the Executive Office for United States Attorneys, and the United States Department of Agriculture. Some of the services we have provided to these customers include:
- Requirements Analysis
- Procurement & Acquisition Life Cycle Support
- Business Process Analysis
- Lifecycle Cost Estimates / Cost Benefit Analysis
- Application Development
- Systems Integration
- IV&V
- Network & Application Operations and Maintenance
- Enterprise Architecture Support/Analysis
In 2007, we once again brought our services and capabilities to a new federal agency. IntelliDyne, as part of a joint venture with several other companies, formed Aerient, LLC, and Aerient was selected as a prime contractor under the small business track of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Enterprise Acquisition Gateway for Leading Edge (EAGLE) solutions program. This contract award falls within EAGLE functional category two, Operations and Maintenance. Under our EAGLE contract, IntelliDyne currently supports the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the Office of the Chief Procurement Officer.
In addition to IntelliDyne’s success with new customers and agencies, we have remained steadfast in our support of our first customers in the Military Health System. In 2007, we were awarded an IDIQ contract vehicle for TRICARE Acquisition, Automation, and Resource Management Support (T/AARMS) on behalf of OASD(HA)/TMA. Through this IDIQ, in 2008 we renewed our Information Technology Support Services contract to provide IT support services to the TMA, Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) – Network Operations. IntelliDyne looks forward to continuing our support for TRICARE and plans to bring the new capabilities and services we have developed home to our oldest customer in the near future.
In 2009 and beyond, we will continue to build our success by expanding our lines of business and services to other federal, local, and state government and commercial clients.
