On March 8th, IntelliDyne hosted the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Hiring Our Heroes Corporate Fellowship Program. Nearly 30 participants in the program visited our corporate office in Falls Church to learn about IntelliDyne and discuss best practices to transition into the civilian world following military service. This is something that is at the core of IntelliDyne’s company culture – giving veterans and their families the opportunities to succeed in the civilian employment market.

Hiring Our Heroes is a nationwide initiative to help veterans, transitioning service members, and military spouses find meaningful employment opportunities. IntelliDyne is committed to serving our nation’s veterans, with over 25% of our workforce military veterans or active reservists. As our CEO Tony Crescenzo, a USMC veteran, has stated, “we make every effort to ensure that our service men and women have rewarding careers waiting for them when they leave the armed forces, and a big part of that is being a company that is committed to hiring qualified military veterans.”

We were proud to host this event and we look forward to future engagements with the Chamber’s Hiring Our Heroes.

About Hiring Our Heroes

One of our favorite slogans from Hiring Our Heroes is: “Hands-On Experience to Connect You With an Exceptional Career.”

To date, more than 31,000 veterans and military spouses have obtained employment opportunities through Hiring Our Heroes events. More than 2,000 companies of all sizes have committed to hire over 700,000 veterans and military spouses as part of the “Hiring 500,000 Heroes” campaign. Of those commitments, more than 500,000 hires have been confirmed. It’s a great track record, but part of the reason we like to publish our involvement in this program is to encourage other companies to join the cause.
