FALLS CHURCH, Va., November 11, 2021– IntelliDyne, LLC, a leading Government Information Technology firm, is honored to be the recipient of the 2021 HIRE Vets Platinum Medallion for the third year in a row. The company was recognized this week by U.S. Secretary of Labor, Martin J. Walsh, during a virtual award ceremony presented by the U.S. Department of Labor. The Honoring Investments in Recruiting and Employing American Military Veterans Act (HIRE Vets Act) Medallion Program is the only federal award program that recognizes employers who successfully recruit, hire, and retain veterans.
“At IntelliDyne, we recognize the value that veterans bring to the workplace. We are proud that over 25% of our staff are veterans or active-duty reservists. Hiring and retaining veterans and military spouses has been a strategic priority which has enabled us to find quality talent whose values align with our own in support of our clients’ critical missions,” said Chief Human Resources Officer, Marisa Krafsig. “Truly, we owe this award to our Military Resource Group. The MRG is an employee-led group of active members supporting military families in our local communities. They are dedicated to helping us attract, engage, and develop our military talent. This recognition would not have been possible without them.”
IntelliDyne joins 848 companies from 49 states, plus the District of Columbia, who have shown a commitment not only to hiring veterans, but also ensuring that they have a long-term career plan that utilizes the diverse skills acquired through military service.
Recipients of the 2021 HIRE Vets Medallion Award meet rigorous employment and veteran integration assistance criteria, including veteran hiring and retention percentages; availability of veteran-specific resources; leadership programming for veterans; dedicated human resource efforts; and pay compensation and tuition assistance programs for veterans.
