Tell us a little about your career at IntelliDyne.
I am the IT Asset Manager on our DOJ contract. I started with IntelliDyne in May 2022.
What motivates and inspires you to continue growing and excelling in your role?
I have a self-drive that makes me want to learn and continue to grow within my career. I enjoy the IT field and there is always so much more to explore as technology advances. Working for a company like IntelliDyne that promotes these opportunities is a true benefit to me.
What is the most important career lesson you’ve learned so far?
Early in my career, I once had a supervisor explain the relevance of “doing YOUR job.” By that, the takeaway was the importance of my role within a team but moreover, how an effective team is successful when we all perform accordingly within our roles.
What is your favorite leadership quote or mantra that resonates with you and influences your approach to leading others?
True leaders don’t create followers, they create more leaders.
How do you provide constructive feedback and guidance to your team members to help them grow and develop their skills?
My goal is not to criticize but provide insight and opportunities for my team to grow. I make sure to apply previous experience and lessons learned as a roadmap and always welcome their feedback.
How do you ensure your team members feel valued and recognized for their contributions?
I never want a team member to feel like their efforts go unnoticed, I make sure to broadcast any “attaboys” received from Customers to Leadership for proper recognition. Also performing routine 1:1 check-ins have been an effective means for feedback and advice.
What kind of hobbies and interests do you have outside of work?
I enjoy all things sports and family! In a previous position I did a lot of international travel, so my wife and I intend to do more in the near future.
