Falls Church, VA – April 3, 2014 – IntelliDyne, LLC a leading Enterprise Infrastructure Management IT consulting firm , is proud to announce the appointment of Mr. Ed Abner as its new Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President. As Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at IntelliDyne, Abner will be responsible for operations, business development, bid and proposal, and internal IT organizations, along with overseeing IntelliDyne’s successful Hygeia joint venture. Abner succeeds Bill Maguire, who recently relocated to Santa Cruz, California, where he joined an early-stage company that is developing clean power generation technology, an area that has been his lifelong passion.
Abner brings more than 30 years of proven experience in corporate management with firms serving both the Federal and commercial markets in mid-tier and large scale organizations. Ed has been consistently recognized for his executive leadership in business development, operations, growth strategy and implementation. Prior to joining IntelliDyne, Ed served as CEO of Achievence, a privately-held executive management consultancy, where he led consulting engagements at hundreds of organizations including Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, SAIC, PricewaterhouseCoopers, ViON, RGS, and Morgan Franklin, all centered on growth, leadership, corporate and business development. Before joining Achievence, Ed served as VP at Federal Sources, VP of Business Development at Platinum Technologies, SVP at Vanstar, Director of Business Development at EDS, and has held Senior Program Management positions at Sparton Technology and International Signal and Control.
Ed is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, and he retired from the U.S. Naval Reserve in 1997.
