Derrick Weaver serves as IntelliDyne’s Chief Information Security Officer. In this role, he is responsible for establishing and maintaining the enterprise vision, strategy, and program to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the company’s information assets and technologies. Additionally, he is also responsible for the protection and risk management of the company’s proprietary information and other digital assets as well as the establishment and maintenance of the company’s certifications in industry frameworks.
Derrick has over twenty years of IT experience, with over ten years in various management roles while working within the government contracting industry. With a career spanning across various IT functions including service delivery, secure software development, project management, and standards compliance, he brings a wide breadth of expertise to the leadership team at IntelliDyne.
Derrick holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from ECPI University and a Master of Information Technology from Virginia Tech. He also holds various industry certifications to include Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and CMMC Certified Professional (CCP).
