In her role as Vice President of Client Operations and Defense Health Agency (DHA) Program Manager, Sovany Van is responsible for the profitability and performance of IntelliDyne’s largest contract. Sovany oversees a suite of full life-cycle Health IT services for the DoD and partner organizations, which enables them to meet their mission to provide health care and related health services to active duty & retired military personnel and their families. Prior to running her current DHA program, Sovany led IntelliDyne’s Web Development group where she managed an enterprise-wide public website consolidation effort for the agency. 

Before joining IntelliDyne, Sovany worked in the Property & Casualty industry in sales, underwriting, process improvement and product management at a Fortune 500 company. This experience parlayed into a project management role, team management, department management and program management in IT contracting for the last eleven years. Throughout this time she has formally mentored junior staff, led a women’s mentoring group, implemented agile methodology, created training curriculum, and hosted professional talks. 

Sovany holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business Administration from the University of Mary Washington and Master of Science in Management of Information Technology (MSMIT) from the University of Virginia. She is a member of the Women in Technology association, a certified Project Management Professional, and is certified in ITIL Foundations, ITIL Intermediate Service Strategy, as well as a Certified ScrumMaster and Certified Product Owner. She is a highly detailed, process-focused leader with experience in Lean Six Sigma, agile, IT strategy, and enterprise infrastructure
