What is your role at IntelliDyne?
As a Site Lead, my job requires me to be the liaison between Contract Operations and the client. I coordinate site operations, staff, and projects in support of IntelliDyne’s largest contract. I also ensure client adherence to Defense Health Agency (DHA) operations and security protocols.

What about your job makes you jump out of bed each morning?
The establishment of trust that I have with clients and coworkers. We count on each other for support, even if we can’t control all the outcomes or results.

What influenced or drove you to become an expert in your field?
Having had the opportunity to work on various teams, various projects, and with multiple clients. The joy in delivering a solution that overcomes previous challenges is rewarding to me. I am thrilled when a plan comes together.

What was your dream job growing up?
I wanted to be a studio musician who toured with well-known artists.

How do you motivate and inspire your team?
I try to motivate and inspire my team members using a few methods. I first acknowledge that contributions are needed from everyone in order to accomplish a task. I intently listen to the ideas or objectives of each team member and do what I can to genuinely support and advance these aspirations when opportunities are presented to do so. Lastly, I convey my expectations and model what I’ve asked of them.

How do you support your team’s professional development?
Whenever possible, I do my best to adjust scheduling and assignments for my team members to allow them time and space to move in the direction of their professional goals. I will remind them of our past goal conversations during touch bases as an accountability push and I will publicly celebrate their achievements.

What is your personal motto or mantra?
Time is like a river, you cannot touch the same water twice, because the flow that has passed will never pass again. Observe and soak up every moment.

Which one of our corporate values is the most meaningful to you?
The most meaningful value to me is Integrity. It’s an internal conviction that motivates the expression of the other values. To me, it’s the value that continues asking did I do my best? It can be challenging and humbling at the same time, because only you know the true answer to that question.

What is one unique or fun fact that others may not know about you?
I love golf but I don’t ever think it will love me back!
