Meeting the Mission; IntelliDyne Supports Veterans Employment Initiatives

Transitioning to civilian life after serving in the military can be a daunting task. In recent years, a growing number of resources have become available to aid veterans in securing employment and returning to civilian life. Veteran programs in Virginia and the surrounding region have come to serve as a model for companies of all sizes to get involved with an ever-expanding veteran community. Amazon Web Services (AWS) recently announced the launch of a local apprenticeship program, in partnership with Northern Virginia Community College, wherein participants will receive a mix of classroom instruction and hands on training with the company. IntelliDyne has increased its own veteran workforce from 8 to 30 percent in recent years through involvement in programs such as the Northern Virginia Technology Counsel’s (NVTC) Veterans Employment Initiative, which is co-chaired by IntelliDyne’s CEO, Tony Crescenzo.
